My daughter Paige loves her bike so much. She's had this one for almost a year now but looks after it so well. Even now in winter she can often be found outside making sure that even if she isn't out riding it, at least it stays clean!

Easter In The {Park}
Easter this year was really quiet. We took my father to the park with the kids and played egg ans spoon races, easter egg hunts, had a bbq brunch, painted our eggs, ate far too much chocolate and then played some more games. Like I said...it was quiet...but it was so nice to spend an easter with dad and the kids.
You're Like An Eternal Spring
You're Like An Eternal Spring
I just love watchin my daughter Paige grow up. I love the way each day brings new discovery!
She has such a cool outlook on things most of the time and people are always drawn to her.
I hope she takes the time to enjoy her youth and isn't in too much of a hurry to grow up!

Hippie Chic
Hippie Chic
Here is the latest of my layouts to make it onto the portal at KSK. The papers are Cosmo Cricket (Love Notes) I really wanted to try and use the papers on a layout of my daughter Teigha becasue purple and orange are two of her fav. colours. The papers are a little old for her so the trick was to try and create a funky page that suited her personality...in the end I was really happy with the way it turned out! Oh...BTW....so was Teigha (Tia).
You can see a teaser of some of the elements of this page on Collective Creative HERE....enjoy...thanks for looking.

Genuine Affection
This is a design I did for KSK a while ago (using dream street papers). They were papers (I guess) I wouldn't ordinarily choose myself. I think that is half the fun of doing designs for shops and design companies…you get to challenge yourself by using products you just might not otherwise select. It's something that I really enjoy.
Anyway...enough already.

Ok...so it's not quite finished yet...but I just couldn't wait to get this one loaded.....
It was part of the crop for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea (raising money for cancer research)

I almost always work on 12x24 layouts. I think it's because I like having room to move. Whatever the reason I just wanted to share some of my favs with you. Some of these are a little old...but hold a special place in my heart. Anyway...here they are...
I Will Not Pass Notes In Class
2007 Ushered in the start of my girls primary school education.
Paige went off to grade one and Teigha off to Prep.
They were both so excited and just couldn't wait to get going!
Oh The Wonder Of You
Seriously...I am one of thos mothers who is constantly amazed at the beauty and wonder of her children. I feel so blessed to have such amazing little people as part of my life.
My son Jai is so expressive and outgoing. He's a great big huge ball of energy and fun!
Jai isn't one of those boys who always runs at full speed. There are times like below when he is just the sweetest kid on the block.
Your Smile Lights Up My Life
It's a common thing for some people to document the gowth of their children by making paint or ink prints of their childrens feet. Some parents even make plaster representations of feet and hands. Because I'm a photographer I choose to mark time and growth by taking photos of both an expression on my childs' face and their feet. Have done layouts for each of my children in this way and continue to do it every 6 mths or so.
You're The Sparkle In My Eyes, The Twinkle In My Toes, The Dance In My Step & The Kiss In My Heart
Watching my father interact with my children is bitter sweet...but far more sweet than bitter. I love that my kids adore him and that love is return amplified!!!

Teigha
Little Teigha was born 12 weeks early and faced her own share of unique challenges. Through everything she has remained her bright and spunky self. She's a unique and beautiful character who loves nothing more than to laugh and play.
